Charcoal + Tea Tree Face Soap

A luxurious face soap formulated for those with normal to oily skin. Activated Charcoal works to detox the skin and remove impurities while giving slight exfoliation that removes dead skin, oil, makeup, etc. Tea Tree oil is long known for its antimicrobial and anti inflammatory properties that help with calming the skin and acne. Aloe Vera Juice helps nourish and restore skin's moisture. 

What makes face bars different from the normal body bars? 

While all of my soaps are made with sensitive skin in mind, our facial skin is much more delicate and thin than our body. It requires a little more nourishment. This is why you'll see more nourishing oils and butters in my face soap recipes such as mango butter and jojoba oil. The other major difference between the two are the superfat of each. Super fat is what we call the leftover oil in the soap recipe. This is the oil that is not saponified and is left to nourish + moisturize the skin. Most of my body bars have a super fat of 5% whereas this face soap has a superfat of 10%. This means that there are more unsaponified oils + butters in this face soap that will help to nourish and protect your skin.

Ingredients: 

Olive Oil, *Coconut Oil, Castor Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Castor Oil, *Jojoba oil, *Aloe Vera Juice, Distilled Water, Activated Charcoal, Essential Oil blend of Tea Tree, Lavender, and Bergamot, **Lye. 

*Organic

**Lye is not present in the soap after 48 hours. 

Soap Care: 

Here are some tips to leave your soap lasting longer. 

- Do not leave your bar soap in direct line of water. 

- Leave your soap on a dish/ soap saver to allow drainage in between uses. 

- Feel free to cut your soaps in half to change out scents faster or to travel with.

- Use a natural loofah/ washcloth to get an extra sudsy experience!

- The shelf life of the soap is 1 year. Due to the nature of pure essential oils, I recommend using your soap within 3-4 months to get the benefits of the essential oils. 

-If not using right away, store your soap in a dark, dry place.
